The Johnsonville Sizzling Sausage Grill Plus is a great tool to easily cook sausages. It works with both Johnsonville and Kroger brand brats, however, when the brats are frozen they may need to be microwaved additionally. This grill cannot be used for hamburgers, solely designed for smaller meats like sausages. The cooking plates are built into the unit and are set for sausages, breakfast sausages, and brats. It cooks Italian sausage and bratwurst perfectly, although it doesn't get breakfast sausages as brown. Both plates heat up making it easy to cook sausages evenly. It's easy to clean which is an added bonus. However, it is somewhat proprietary meaning Johnsonville brand works best and it doesn't have a timer or shut off feature when the sausages are finished cooking. This product did not come with a cookbook or a warranty.
