The RTV silicone sealant seems to have a long shelf life, around 30 days, and can be used to secure sliding shower doors, cabinets and even sensitive equipment such as refrigerators and terrariums. The adhesive has been reviewed positively, with positive feedback describing its effectiveness for adhering heavy glass shower doors or attaching sliding glass roller brackets. But some users describe issues with the tube's longevity, the tube drying up quickly, and sudden punctures that can make applying the sealant difficult.
