Outer measurements: 17" high, about 14" wide with side pockets (but the whole thing can squishable) 8" deep. Interior main pocket: 16" high, 13" wide, 7" deep at bottom. Interior front pocket: 7" high, 9 1/2" wide, about 3 1/2" deep. Hope that helps.

Is the backpack insulated at all?

Yes, it has a thick liner plus the outer shell is thick and looks exactly how it looks when you receive it - excellent quality.

I say water resistant.. it got rained on multiple times and water has not gone inside as of yet.

How to plug my laptop in my backpack

Open the top of the bp there is a place where you can slide your lt into the bp. I love mine, I am a substitute teacher in H/S. the bp will stand up when you sit it down.
