This is a thick silicone mat that is not ESD safe rated and has low conductivity. It has two small squares that are magnetic with a weak magnetic field. The mat is great for soldering and can withstand high temperatures. It has a rough textured surface that can be hard to clean. The mat has storage areas for tiny parts and has not been affected by dropping a hot iron on it. Its lower edge has started to turn light grey for some reason. Overall, it is a good work mat for electronics and computing at a reasonable price.
