How do you put the lights on?

It sticks flat to the wall & the kids love to rearrange the decorations. Their are no lights on the tree.

The tree has little holes all over it. What are they for? And I have no clips to hold the lights on. How do you put them on and make them stay put?

I am concerned about the holes all over as mine did not have any. Mine came with paper clips for the lights. Since yours didn't come with them it sounds like, you can buy paper clips for the lights.
