Please do not buy this item. It is terrible and absolute garbage. It does not cut properly and is very cheaply made. If they spend £5 to manufacture it will be a lot.

Will it cut 40m off a 100m tile?

Yes, I retiled my entire bathroom using it, just rescore your tile deeply and multiple times.

Would this manage to cut a slate floor tile?

I don’t think it would be wrong enough to snap the tile. We used electric one for the floor tiles.

Will it cut porcelain tiles?

No, it will break every one of them you try. You'll be better with a diamond disc on an angle grinder or a wet tile cutter.

Does it cut mosaic tiles?

Yes, I cut sheets of mosaic tiles easily.
