I would like to knit a cowl using the seed knit, I am a beginner. Would one ball be enough?

The pattern you're using should indicate the total yardage required, but given that this is the Super Bulky weight and therefore 'thicker and shorter' in length than the same weight (100 grams) of a thinner yarn, I would probably recommend that you get at least 2 balls. That way you don't need to worry about running out mid-project, and if there's a little extra, that might be perfect for a little accessory to match your cowl.
