Brass copper material is more conductive than other materials. If your battery is lithium batteries, you must choose a brass terminal. It is better to keep the same metal for the cell plates and the terminals. But if your battery is lead-acid batteries, I would recommend you chose a lead terminal, because lead is more corrosion resistant to sulfuric acid.

The Battery Terminal Connectors Set is an excellent choice for internally threaded batteries, and they work great on automotive lithium lightweight batteries. The posts are M6 threaded and are designed for batteries with that thread, and they also work as the actual post. The kits come with a screw that is attached on top of the posts for additional usage, such as audio wiring. These posts are well made and are made of brass. However, users should take note that they cannot be tightened too much because brass is not as strong as steel. Hence, they can break when tightened too hard, causing studs to break off in the battery. Despite this issue, these terminal connectors are a necessary addition to vehicles that require a reliable ground point for use with the Lithium Ion Jump starter. They also come in handy for AGM batteries with screw-on terminals, where the tops of these posts allow you to bolt on additional connections such as light bars and stereos.
