Ford Racing M4700C 8.8 Rebuild Kit with Carbon Discs

The Ford Racing M4700C 8.8 Rebuild Kit with Carbon Discs is an excellent upgrade for those who want to enhance the traction and performance of their Ford 8.8" solid axle, limited-slip differential. The kit includes steel and friction plates, shims and pre-load spring. The metal plates in the kit are all the same thickness, with the friction plates also being uniform. These clutches made a world of difference for some reviewers cars - one noted that they spun both tires nicely which is a great sign of increased traction. Install is generally quite easy, but the S spring can be difficult to install, requiring some skill.
