The NUX ACE of Tone Dual Overdrive Pedal is a cheaper alternative to other dual drive pedals and is built with the NUX Tubeman and Morning Star components. The pedal is of high quality and provides a variety of sounds for experimentation with drive stacking. Although it may not be suitable for outdoor tours, it serves as a good pedal to practice with. One customer preferred this pedal in comparison to a more expensive Wampler Pandora pedal, stating that it responds better to dynamics. However, two other customers had a negative experience with the tone, stating that it lacked openness and sounded digital rather than analogue. With a bit of tweaking, this pedal has the potential to be impressive.
