The SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex Quatro 4 x ATSC Tuners - HDFX-4US is a great device for those who want to watch broadcast TV on their Samsung TVs using the HD Home Run app. It can also be used with streaming devices or as a DVR with the PLEX app. It has 4 separate tuners inside and records directly to a hard drive connected to the home network. The recorded files can be accessed and saved locally using a web browser. It is advised to purchase a good antenna like the GE long range attic antenna. It delivers full HD (1080) resolution TV across wifi and works well with Kodi. Tech support is amazing and it works flawlessly merging with PLEX Media Server. However, it may not work well with newer Samsung TVs due to their software. Some users have reported that the device fails after a few years, but customer service replaces it quickly under warranty.
