Is this good for brazilian jiu jitsu?

I would not recommend this for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the neck guard is designed for additional protection in hockey and will not provide the support and protection you are looking for with Jiu Jitsu. Shock Doctor Ultra Neck Guard Black

The Shock Doctor Ultra Neck Guard is designed for additional protection in hockey and is available in three sizes: Youth, Junior and Senior. The sizing for this product is based strictly on neck measurement. It is made to protect the neck area from being cut as it has a thin layer of Kevlar in it to prevent neck area cuts. It is not designed to provide support while playing golf or during Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This product has received mixed reviews from customers. Some customers have found it to be bulky and uncomfortable but others have found it to work flawlessly, recommending its use for airsoft. It is worth noting that the product looks different from the picture as it is not shaped to accommodate shoulders and not super comfortable, but it covers the affected area.
