Does this fitting have a screen in it?

No it does not have a screen. The 1/2 in hose adaptor only has a rubber washer. You can buy a screened hose washer at any hardware store.

Will it fit rain bird T70-100S?

This product worked well with both sizes of tubing, and has held tight for the month or so since I installed it.

Does this work for Dig drip irrigation systems head assembly? The usual setup is sticking the 1/2' tubing into a faucet swivel adapter? Sore hands!

I had to buy a metal hose clamp to keep the fitting from blowing off, now it works with any pressure.

Retention cap wont thread using rainbird 1/2' tubing. tubing is very snug and doesn't come off in use, any luck?

I got dig b004npybn0 b36 b 36 drip tubing but not able to secure it with the part to screw on. any idea?

Will this work with 5/8 inch drip tape?

Since it will work with 5/8 drip tubing, I would suspect it would work with 5/8 drip tape. These things are great with drip tubing and I highly recommend for that application.

Does it work with a Melnor aqua timer?

This adapter screws into any 3/4' Hose Thread male connection, which is the standard connection for home spigots, garden hoses, and many timers. It will work with any timer that has a standard 3/4' hose thread connection.

The Habitech 3-Pack 1/2 Inch Drip Irrigation Tubing to Faucet/Garden Hose Adapter is generally easy to install and less likely to leak, according to customer feedback.
