Question : How do I apply Diamond Dust glitter?

Question : What projects is Diamond Dust glitter suitable for?

Question : Why doesn't diamond dust come in a shaker bottle?
Answer : Does normal glitter come in a shaker bottle? No, but it is just easier to apply as a crafter. And so, it is the same for diamond dust. You can sprinkle with your fingers, but it’s just easier and more economical to use any sort of shaker bottle. Then work with paper underneath your project so that you can collect and pour back the unused diamond dust back into your container. This product is not cheap, so to add a shaker will just drive the price up more. I use a big old spice container to sprinkle my diamond dust. Trust this answers your question.
Question : What is the density of this product? Sufficient to work in a snow globe?
Answer : I would say that it's not that dense, at least for a snow globe. The glitter is ground up glass, so it's light and super, super thin.

Question : How does this differ from glitter?
Answer : It's not flat like glitter..... looks like frost
Question : Can this Diamond Dust be used in a glitter gun?
Answer : This glitter is beautiful but it's kinda sharp. I used it in a project with my students and a couple of kids got 'glitter splinters'.
Question : Can u put it on the fabric let's say a wedding dress?
Answer : There is no glue to the product, so you would also have to be comfortable applying that to the dress. Also, these are actually glass particles and I have been told could scratch you. Glamour dust by Decoart is a softer product, but again requires glue. Neither would survive cleaning. There is also spray on glitter by krylon, that you could test on fabric to see if it gives the effect you want.
Question : Can it be used in candles?
Answer : Basically, diamond dust is ground glass... so yes, you could use it in candles.
Question : Can I put this glitter in a liquid snowglobe?
Answer : I don't know but I don't see why not. I haven't tried it in liquid. It's pretty big flakes of glass. Bigger than glitter. It might work perfectly.
Question : Can this be used in concrete?
Answer : I don't know if it can be used with concrete, try doing a small sample. This glitter has a wonderful sparkle to it, so I think it's worth a try. Good luck with your project.
