• Question : Is it easy to crimp the ends of these tubes?
  Answer : Yes, these tubes are easy to crimp and come with adhesive strips at the end of the tube to help seal prior to crimping.
• Question : What type of paint medium can be used in these tubes?
  Answer : These tubes are suitable for use with any paint medium including acrylic, heavy body, oil, watercolor and gouache.
• Question : In what sizes are these tubes available?
  Answer : These tubes are available in 4 sizes: 22ml, 45ml, 60ml, and 170ml.
• Question : Do you need a special tool to crimp bottom of the tubes?
  Answer : No. What you can do is after putting paint in, pinch together with your fingers, squeezing out any paint and air space. Then, with a palette knife on a hard surface take the edge of the knife and press hard across the tube about 1/4 inch from the end. This will be your start to your first crimp which you will do by hand. Finish by folding the rest. Do not put too much paint in the tube. You will want 3 crimps.
• Question : Is there a seal on the tube?
  Answer : There appears to be a thin layer of adhesive around the inside rim of the tube which would make a contact seal once the open end has been pressed flat. But to really seal the tube you need to crimp approximately 1/8 of the flattened end and then fold that at least twice so that it looks just like the tubes of paint that you purchase.
• Question : What is the actual size of the tubes, inches?
  Answer : The 22 ml is a bit over 4 inches and the 45 ml is a little over 4.75 inches. The diameters are different as well. 22ml is 3/4 inch in diameter amd 45ml is 1 inch in diameter.
• Question : How do you seal the end?
  Answer : Do not overfill the tube. Leave about an inch or more. Tap contents occasionally. Just pinch the tube together and make a quarter-inch at a time tight roll like a regular store-bought tube looks. Neatness counts. Insert paint with a thin palette knife and have paper towel handy.
• Question : Can these be used for cosmetics such as hand or face cream?
  Answer : Yes! Another use for these. The inside of the tube has a sort of thin rubber liner (non-reactive). Also, the nozzle opening is the larger version. Should be great for your prescribed use.
