This tube bender is designed to bend tubing with a minimum diameter of 1/4" and is not recommended for smaller diameter tubing. It works well for copper pipes and brake lines, however, it may not work well for bending solid copper rods, spoons or small flat brackets. 5/16" and 3/16" tubing can be bent with a tight radius of 23/32" and 1/4" solid copper rod can be bent without any problem. It may not work with stainless steel tubes coated with any other material as this might flake off. The feedback from users is quite mixed with some claiming it was easy to use and worked well, while others mentioned that it was useless in some circumstances, that the metal quality was poor and that it broke easily.
