The cellophane wrap is made from regenerated cellulose, which makes it biodegradable, and not recyclable. It is transparent enough for light to shine through, but not sturdy enough for making clear baby blocks. Although it can be used to wrap gift baskets, it is not recommended for steaming or cooking as it is not food-grade material. It may work as a semipermeable membrane in osmosis experiments, but this is not guaranteed. The cellophane wrap comes in a gold colour which pleased one customer. Overall, the cellophane wrap is good quality, but a few customers have found it tricky to work with due to its ease in tearing. Also, some customers wish it was thicker.
