No difference but they don’t really peel a garlic clove, they merely take off the outer skin or the easy part. You're still left with the clove skin. Waste of time and money.

I don’t have the box anymore. But, what ISN’T, or, WASN’T made in China?? I’m guessing it was made in some Asian country.

The upgraded version features small rubber grippers on the inside for better grip. This tool is not suitable for peeling ginger.
