Question : Which color atop needles corresponds to which gauge? Are they all triangular? If not, what other shapes are they & which color corresponds to which?
Answer : Blue and orange are the largest, 36 gauge. Purple and green are medium, 38 gauge and red and yellow are the finest/smallest, 40 gauge. If you hold them up next to each other, you can see the difference in length. Longer ones are largest gauge, shortest ones are smallest gauge. The non colored needles in the handles appear to be the finest/smallest, 40 gauge. They all seem to be flat. I compared them to a triangular shape needle that I already had, under magnification, and they all appear to be flat.
