No chance. Ours could not even handle 40 pages for more than a couple months. I don't even believe it made it 60 days before we tossed it.

You can remove one punch and get only two holes but they will be at standard spacing for 3-hole punching. The punches are not movable so you can't make a standard two-hole punch out of this.

Is this machine able to punch through the thickness of a composition notebook?

I recall that it was able to punch through at least a 3/8” stack of paper if you applied your weight to the handle.

Just slightly less than 4 1/2 inches between holes. This hole punch fits standard US 3 ring binders and follows 3 hole notebook paper.

Can the depth be adjusted

Not the cutting depth, it just punches straight through. The 3 grey plates at the end of the cutter act as a soft base to save the cutting tips.

The trays are not collecting the holes, how do I install the trays so they catch the holes?

There are holes in the puncher that output to the clear trays. Make sure the place where they come out of the puncher is lined up with the windows in the collection trays? Or the collection test windows are lined up with the place the holes come from in the puncher. If no holes are coming out at all, you might not have used it enough yet

This heavy and bulky hole punch can punch through a lot of paper but may struggle with thicker materials. The punches are not movable, but one can remove a punch to get only two holes. The maximum paper size is 12 inches, and the guide cannot be removed or adjusted. The distance between holes is just less than 4 1/2 inches. The paper pieces may not go into the tray as advertised, and the tray needs adjustment. Users find the punch does a great job, and it saves time. However, a few customers received a defective product and face difficulty in removing the punch heads and maturally clearing them out between every punch.
