What brand are you looking at? Amazon has so many, try a different brand. I recently bought burgandy from them. Probably not. Not a common color.

How much weight can one of these hold? Has anyone tried holding themselves up out of the water with one? Making a dog swim ramp for our Pontoon boat

I'm not exactly sure what the design of your ramp is or how much weight you need to support, but I would believe that one of the larger boat fenders, fully aired, would easily hold up a hundred pound+ person. Sounds like you might be needing to use a couple of the fenders for your project...Be sure to test-don't let your dogs drown!

How heavy are they? Want make stabilizers for kayak don't want to overkill on weight.

Very light you be fine with kayak. Maybe even too big for kayak.
