The straps have crimped metal S hooks that can be moved for added versatility. They are ideal for securing tarps and canvases. Users have reported mixed experiences with these straps. While some have found them to be very sturdy and able to hold a lot of weight, others have experienced significant breakage after only a few weeks of use. The straps do not appear to offer UV protection, which may be contributing to their shorter lifespan in outdoor conditions. Anyone Considering purchasing these straps should keep in mind that they are made in China and that the S hooks may not be as durable as they appear in the product pictures.
