The Hunter Sprinkler Irrigation XC600i X-Core 6-Station Indoor Controller is a versatile product that can be installed indoor as well as outdoor, provided it is protected from the elements. It is easy to install, wire, and program. The wiring hook-up is clearly explained in the directions, and the unit is simple to set up and operate. However, starting from scratch with the wiring may be a little difficult. The product comes with a power cord. One can manually start the unit and run it one time or set a timer for each station and move the dial to Run. It automatically goes back to the preset run times for the next day. Unfortunately, there is no automatic way to clear all programs and start over. The customer support team is helpful, and the transformer and the controller are easy to replace if there is an internal issue.
