It is compatible with any type of rock tumbler, including the National Geographic tumbler. However, it may not be suitable for grinding and polishing rock thin sections. After polishing, the rocks will be smooth but will require an additional fifth stage of burnishing to achieve a glossy finish. Additionally, filler pellets made of ceramic are recommended for achieving shiny rocks.
