I’ve got a pair of these pedals for my mountain bike.. have over 1100 miles in them through mud, sand and rain with no issues. Haven’t had to service them because I meticulously clean all moving parts after each ride of grime an grit.. so they function like new. When it comes time to service them I’ll probably just replace them because of their low initial cost. Time, labor and parts just aren’t worth it for $30.00 pedal. Just clean and a little lube and you’ll get your money’s worth

Yes, you can adjust the height of the nails or remove them.

can these pedals fit on gt

Yes. I believe so. I have a set on my bike (non GT) and my son has a set on his GT bike so I am assuming that they would fit your bike as well. I really like mine.

Purchase a pedal that has a 5/8 threaded shaft. Or you can steal one.
