Did anyone notice how much sodium is in it ?? 2620 mg !!!! Why would you put that much in it ??

Your question was alarming so I had to do some math. 2620 mg is for the whole package, which is 50 tbsp. One tbsp contains 240 mg of sodium, which is 10% of the recommended serving per day. According to the recipes listed, you should use 1/4 teaspoon, which is about 1/12 of a tablespoon. So you'd have to make 12 of the listed recipes and eat the whole thing to eat one daily serving of salt.

Why does the back of the package say to not look at the bottom of the bag?

The package does not state anything about the product being exposed to nut products. It does state that it was packaged for Anthony's Nuts. My package states it was tested gluten free which is why I bought the product.
