Are these pants strong enough for all night?

If your child already wakes up on their own to use the bathroom. They are good to prevent leaks getting to the bathroom. But if you just starting night training, then no.

I felt they are true to size. My toddler wears a 4/5t diapers and I ordered her a 4t. Now there is room in the diaper for the “bulkier” mess and that’s what I was looking for. So to answer your question I’d order her the size you normally would unless shes quite a bit smaller than the average toddler in the hip/bottom.
