This turntable is an entry-level option with a pre-amp built-in, making it a plug-and-play experience. One reviewer even coupled it with Audioengine A5+ speakers for an even better sound quality. However, another reviewer didn't like the lack of upgradability and fine tuning, noting that Rega doesn't allow maximum tweaking on their tables. They also claim that the glass platter was swapped out for a thicker hollow plastic one that causes tracking issues without the ability to adjust it.
