Well, usually you should only have to turn the key to the LEFT and push in on the register’s door. It should pop out. Be sure that the register is sitting FLAT on a table, NOTHING under it. I hope this was helpful.

Does it have a ringing bell for when it is opened?

No, it does not. I ordered 2 of the same drawer, received 2 different drawers, neither of them ding when opened but one opens with a push when unlocked and the other it is a requirement to lock/unlock drawer to open and close.

How can I get more keys made?

Home Depot or any hardware store can cut keys. The manufacturer has a key number might try contacting them directly and see if they send you key

This cash register drawer is not Consistently dependable, with some users experiencing issues with locking and unlocking the drawer and difficulty in getting customer support.
