I need these for precision cutting/slicing of cork rings on a Lathe. How true do they run and will they cut cork to a smooth finish?

I used these to cut ceramic tile. It did great. It should cut cork to a smooth finish because the diamond chips are all over the blade.

What is the max RPM for these blades?

I do not believe there is an absolute answer for this question. The maximum RPM for these cutting wheels depends on the hardness, and width of the material to cut. It also depends whether you can refrigerate the wheel using water or other liquid vehicle. My personal experience with these cutting wheel has been extremely positive, I was able to cut a large portion of double 4mm glass with internal plastic binder, without large effort or problems. However, I am an amateur hobbyist, perhaps professional users of these wheels can provide a more precise answer.

Will these cut carbide?

I have found them to be pretty much a complete waste of money on several ‘lighter’ materials, so a definite ‘no’ on the carbide.
