The 3M 3M-18730 Roloc Bristle Disc Grade - 50, Size - 2 is a 2-inch 50 grit (green) Roloc disc that attaches to a roloc adapter that ends in a 1/4" shaft. It is intended to be used in a die grinder that comes in straight or right angle. The bristle discs that come in different sizes and grits last a long time. According to a customer, it was used for cleaning carbon buildup on engine heads and worked quite well. However, it might not be effective for cleaning years of crud off of wheel wells without damaging underlying paint. These bristle discs are pretty small, so it is better to opt for larger pads for cleaning bigger surfaces. The product is a bit expensive, especially the 4 1/2 inch ones. **
