Wireless. You just can’t have the speaker to close to the headset to prevent feedback.

Can you hook the amplifier to a separate 3.5 headphone?

No, this is a voice amplifier, not a speaker. thanks!

Can someone else patch in and use/override it?

Its UHF. You won’t have to worry about them patching into it. You students will try to bluetooth it but it won’t work. I use it when I teach. It has a good volume. I have to teach with a mask and I have no problems. Hope this helps.

What kind of usb cable did this come with?

Yes. It is stupid. You have to charge them separately.

Would this work to film yoga videos?

Sorry to tell you that this model S611 can't be used as an external speaker for audio output as it hasn't an Audio port. However, if you could plug in a TF card or USB drive, you can play your yoga videos with this S611. Or if you would like to choose a voice amplifier can be used as an external speaker, then please refer to our SHIDU model S613 and SD-S516-Sky Blue (this model also with the bluetooth speaker function).
