You seem to need an adapter. It's part cw-8960046 for the corsair.

Yeah its 8 cores 16 thread cpu but you can get the 1700 which is just as fast.

I just paired this with h100i v2. Idle temps hit 50-60. Is the whole +20 temp offeset amd claims still happening with updated bios?

Must update bios to get accurate reading of temp they were up to 20 degrees off.

The AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Processor is a high-end CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads suitable for heavy video editing, gaming, CAD, modeling and animation, and aviation photo editing. The processor does not come with a fan, but it's recommended to use a liquid cooler for better performance. Board makers had a short time to develop motherboards for the new AM4 top-secret design. Hence, after updating the BIOS, it has faster boot-up time and more accurate temperature readings. However, it has stability issues, and some users experienced system freezes. Overall, it's a great processor for productivity and a top-notch CPU for gaming.
