I have an eight year old above ground. The liner was looking very dull and old. Spoke to the people at the local pool store. They suggested taking a vitamin C tablet and rubbing on the liner. If it makes a difference then this product will work for you. My liner turned out great.

Will this stuff be good to add to winterizing chemicals to remove water line stains over the winter? I live in southeastern Pennsylvania.

You call. But it is best to use when extended filtering since you need a metal culator to actually remove the metal. The stain remover will not remove the metal but the culator will. I use rx in spring and mid summer but culatorin skimmer basket all year. Pool has never been this clear in 10 year
