It’s pretty much the same thing, the cord on the green one is way more heavy duty than your average household appliance.

It is not recommended. This model recommends distilled water only.

What temperature does it get to?

I’m not sure about temperatures but I know my cleaning company uses it in a daycare restroom. It never smells like urine anymore. The steam mop eliminates the urine on the floors from the little boys who seem to have bad aim.

Do you have to use distilled water or can faucet water be used?

Distilled or demineralized water is recommended in place of tap water.

I got ceramic floor tile with grooves where the dirt has settled into. I don't want to rent a steamer. I do not think this will be strong enough?

I use my Bissell weekly on our tile floors, works great. If you have a buildup of dirt in grout, etc. I hired Stanley Steemer to come in and clean well; then use the Bissell for weekly maintenance.

Can this be used on diamond tread plate floors?

It would depend on what your diamond tread floors are made of, it should be fine.

Can this be used on carpet?

Some steam mops have carpet adapters for gliding it across carpets. Not sure if this one does. I use this one in my commercial cleaning business for mopping daycare restrooms. I love the long cord.

Do you need to put floor cleaner in it?

No! Do not put floor cleaner in this mop. It’s a steam mop all it needs is distilled water.
