Hello I would say you probably could. Not sure how you are housing them. If in an aquarium you would probable want to be conscious of the temperature and make sure the bulb doesn't make to hot. If to hot put lower wattage bulb in it.put a thermostat inside to watch temp. Hope this helps Tom
