Is there an adapter to mimic the smaller end of the tubing?

The size is the same on both ends of the tubing. Also, our pumps do come with the adapters so you can attach the tubing to the pump.

What is the maximum temperature this hose can take?

Anything above 120 degrees could be problematic. The tubing will become softer and if there are any connections to the pumps that could be an issue where they may loosen.

What is the OD dimensions of 1/2 tubing?

The OD for the 1/2 in ID tubing is 3/16th.

Is this the soft, pliable hose that will lay flat and slide over a 1/2" barb fairly easily or is this the more rigid hose that will not lay flat?

The hose is not too rigid and should lay flat since it is pretty heavy duty. Though I buried the hose, so I am not sure.

What PSI can this tubing handle?

It handles the inflow of our 5000 GPH pump without any problems.

Yes, it should be bury-friendly. Mine is buried for only a few feet from the pond pump back up to the waterfall. No issues so far, very pliable.
