How much water should be added to dye bottle when there is no fill line mentioned on the 16 oz bottle?

Fill a little less than the top.

Can this be used to dye fresh flowers?

You can, but adding too much of the dye could wilt the flowers. You may need to play around with the concentration amounts.

Can the dye be used later by saving it?

You can save some for later by resealing the bottles but you should be cautious of the proportions. One packet of color goes with one full bottle of water, so you’d have to cut both in half.

Will the ink last a couple of weeks until water is added to it?

The dye does not have an expiration. However, once water is added, we recommend using it within 72 hours to ensure full vibrancy.

How many cotton adult socks can this kit dye?

Each 4oz bottle of dye can create up to 3 medium sized adult t-shirts. We usually allocate one bottle of dye per person when we host events and parties.

Does this dye have any UV resistance to keep cotton from fading in the sun?

It does not have any special UV-resistant additives, but is formulated for vibrant results and long-lasting color.

Can it be squirted on with a water gun?

Yes, you can put it into a squirt bottle and use that to fill the gun.

What should be done if the plastic packet is not dissolved in water?

Some of the dye may remain in the packet and you will not get the desired result. The color will probably be much lighter because all the dye was not dissolved.
