This product is useful for sewing 2-inch pieces of fabric together into a quilt top with matching seams. The grid lines are on the back and are fold lines for stitching 1/4 inch seams. Once the fabric is pressed to adhere to the grid, you sew the squares together to create a precise patchwork. The sticky side of the interfacing does not hold as well as some would like, but it is a lightweight product like a regular embroidery stabilizer. Some customers found that the product did not work for their particular project, but others found it perfect for watercolor picture quilting and making t-shirt quilts. It can be washed like regular fabric, and the grid lines are absorbed into the seams. While some customers experienced issues with the product, the majority found it a good value for the amount purchased and plan to purchase again.
