The WirthCo 20090 Battery Doctor is a helpful device for keeping the car batteries charged. However, it cannot be connected to a lithium battery without a specific charge controller. The blue light indicates that the primary battery is connected to the alternate battery and charging, which happens when the vehicle's ignition is on, and the primary battery is measured at 14V or higher. The device has a standby current draw of 300ma, and a 120ah battery would take about 400 hours to drain. It is easy to install, and the directions are easy to understand. It is recommended to connect the proper-sized automatic charger to the battery to keep the top charge on the battery when the vehicle is sitting for extended periods. The stud size of the device is 1/4", and the aux terminal is on the left side of the unit.
