Toro 53708 1-Inch Jar Top Underground Sprinkler System Valve , Assorted

The Toro 53708 valve is compatible with PVC pipe and has a 1-inch NPT internal thread that can accept a male hose barb for poly pipe or a male PVC coupling for PVC pipe. Although it is designed for underground use, it can work well above ground if you can keep the water from freezing. It is easy to install, and its top and guts can be swapped into an existing valve body. The product seems to have received mixed reviews with some customers stating they could not find a compatible replacement and eventually found this product to replace their old one.
