It is for a single speaker. All NHT speakers are packaged and sold individually so you can buy whatever you need for a multi-channel system.

Is there a grill/screen? If so, what color?

There is a screen that is magnetically attached. With the black colored center channel (which is the one I have), the screen is black.

Is the top speaker angled for a reason?

It is a Dolby Atmos speaker designed to reflect off of the ceiling for a more immersive surround experience.

The NHT Media Series Slim Center Channel Speaker is a high-quality center channel speaker that is highly recommended by customers. The speaker can also be used as rear speakers in a 7.4.2 setup, and it is designed to reflect off the ceiling for a more immersive surround sound experience. It comes with a black screen that is magnetically attached, and the top speaker is angled for a reason. The speaker offers a balanced sound that leans slightly warm with good highs. The sound profile sits in the center of all the four center channel speakers that the customer owns. Sound dispersion is great, even at off-axis, where the dining table is located. At its price point, this is an excellent value for its quality.
