That transducer will not work with the Matrix. You would need the Hummingbird XNT-9-20-T. The part number is 710198-1. Now that will work with all the matrix except the Matrix 473D.

Is this compatible with helix 7 mdi GPS G3?

Yes. I have two boats and swap the Helix 7 head between two transducers. Works great.

Will this work with helix 10?

Yes, this XNT 9 HW T transducer will work with a HELIX 10.

Will this work with a pmax170 fish finder?

The correct transducer would be an XNT 9 20 T - TRANSOM SINGLE/DUALBEAM TRANSDUCER, Humminbird item # 710198-1. Thank you.

Will this work inside the hull? Will be using with Helix 5 chirp gps g3.

It’d not work very well if it’s installed inside the hull. That one is designed to be on the transom, outside of the boat.

The Humminbird 710282-1 XM 9 HW MSI T HELIX MEGA Side Imaging, Down Imaging Dual Spectrum CHIRP with Temperature Transom Mount Transducer is a black transducer with bracket included. Customers had questions about its compatibility with various units, and it seems to work with certain Helix models, but not with Solix or 1197c. The transducer should be compatible with the Helix 10 hw msi gps g2n unit. The Humminbird customer support team can assist with specific model compatibility questions.
