Can it hold the elk ridge full tang bowie knife with usn anchor on handle?

I purchased this sheath to replace a damaged WWII Ka-Bar sheath. This sheath is for a Ka-Bar type knife. I would think if your knife measures very closely to a Ka-Bar knife your knife should fit. Hope this helps.

Where all could I strap a sheath like this (i.e. leg, boot, backpack, hip, etc)?

Overall length 13", 2.25" at widest part ( top of belt loop and thru the body ), front to back depth from rear of belt loop forward to front surface of snap is also 2.25". It seems that it would fit anywhere .. belt/hip would be ideal with the hole for a lanyard to strap it to your thigh like a gunslinger if you wished. Outside surface of backpack would be very good because the snap is tight-good quality. Boot would be interesting because of length, however it is slim thru out bottom 10". Eight rivets used in construction along with full stitching. In conclusion, good quality product, well made, attractive style, functionally very good. Hope this helps.
