The FIBARO RGBW Controller 2 Z-Wave Plus LED Strips Regulator is a 12-24 V DC analog LED strip controller that integrates with Z-wave systems. Users have found that it is not compatible with addressable LED strips or lights, and it can handle up to 12 Amps sums of all 4 channels, typically controlling 2 x RGB(w) strips that are 15 ft each. The controller features improvements from its predecessor, including the ability to connect analog sensors requiring a pull-up resistor, an LED on the casing that informs about the device status, a menu with a button on the casing for device reset and Consumption memory clearance, a ZW500 chip for faster Z-Wave operation and longer range, Z-Wave Plus certification, scene activation using Central Scene, and the capability to control Multilevel devices through associations. Additionally, it offers two LED control modes: RGBW and HSBW. It has been noted to work well for controlling 12 and 24-volt applications and has not been reported to have issues with Z-Wave hub connectivity. However, it is important to note that it is not suitable for use in automobiles or with RGBWW setups.
