I don't see a year on the picture. Does it have a year on it? Can I get it without the year?

The only reference to the year is a small cardboard tag in the shape of a graduation cap printed with the year (presumably the year in which you make your purchase, i.e., in our case, 2016, for our son's high school graduation) attached to a paw and easily clipped off if desired. We left ours on, as I wanted the year displayed and was actually rather disappointed that it wasn't more 'permanent looking' (stitched or embossed somewhere). But the bear is adorable either way!

I also need one for 2015. Do you have to specify which year you want?

The year is whichever is listed in the title. As of the time this question was asked, it looks like you can only get a 2014 bear.

Hi the bear I received at the time was for my graduating class of 2020 so I'm sure they may have updated the year to 2022 as that is for the current graduation class.

it's a very nice quality bear, as my daughter loves this plush toy! you can ask the company if they can customize it to your liking but honestly i ordered few bears and my daughter picked this plushie, he is very sweet and cute and festive! good luck!

The one I got was 2013, I remember the picture was different and the description said it would be 2013, and it was.
