According to customer reviews, this product is easy to install and is a good, cheap replacement gear that has lasted over 2,000 miles for one reviewer. However, it is important to remove any old chewed up bits of plastic and old grease from the assembly before installing new gears and to put new bearing grease on them. This product is also not suitable for an old bafang hub motor, as it requires a smaller 18teeth gear on top of the 36t gear, which this product does not have. Overall, the product seems to be of good quality and reasonably priced.
