The Aeon Matrix Yardian Weatherproof Outdoor Enclosure is a protective cover for the Yardian Pro Smart Sprinkler Controller, designed to be waterproof and UV-resistant with double padlockable latches. It has an ethernet port and wifi connector, with the ethernet being the primary connection, and it can find and use nearby weather stations for better watering needs. However, there are many drawbacks, such as low-quality contacts for connecting zone valves, worthless number tags that fall off, lacking installation instructions, and a poorly-designed Android app created by an Apple developer. The UI is confusing, with poor navigation and layout, and no home page app widgets, making it hard to operate. The box is also poorly designed, with a thin plastic loop that is not fit for locking, and holes below that don't take cable pipes in. Despite the poor reception from some customers, others are satisfied with the communication from Aeon before purchasing and experienced no issues connecting, updating, and controlling the device.
