Rain Bird Transformer: Replacement Outdoor Transformer for ESP-4M Controller

The Rain Bird Transformer is an ideal replacement outdoor transformer for the Rain Bird ESP-4M controller. The electrical specifications of this transformer will work for many different timer models including Rain Bird ESP-lxme and Rain Dial RD600-ex-r, and should fit in most existing spaces. However, it is important to note that it may not work with timers that require more than 24 to 29 VAC output transformers. Additionally, it is suggested that if your old timer suffered a power surge due to lightning or other reasons, simply replacing the transformer may not be enough as other components may have been affected.
