The Micro Air Pump is a DC 12V Micro Vacuum Pump that is quite cheap to buy, which makes it ideal if you are on a budget. The manufacturer claimed that pumps of this variety are usually rated between 5,000 to 10,000 MTBF. As for compatibility, a customer was able to drive this motor with their Raspberry Pi through a relay. It is useful in certain scenarios such as driving an air bubbler for an aquarium. However, a customer mentioned that it might not be powerful enough for a vacuum chamber. On the other hand, a customer had great success and pulled a 15 inHg (half an atmosphere, give or take a little) vacuum with no problem. The port on the side is suction, and the one on the end is a discharge. One of the advantages of this pump is that it is a very economical way of repairing certain devices, such as the SoClean CPAP cleaning unit.
